The Questions [1977 - 1984]

The Questions were a Scottish band formed back in 1977 while the members were still teens. Beginning as a more rock-focused band, they soon morphed into a funky, blue-eyed soul sound as they joined Paul Weller's (The Jam, The Style Council) 'Respond Records' in 1982. They unfortunately only lasted until 1984 with the release of their debut album. It didn't sell well enough for the label (which ceased to exist soon after) and they eventually had their final live show in November of 1984. Really disappointing that they didn't get as big as they could've as their discography is packed with some gems! I wonder what the members did after disbandment, especially Paul Barry and John Robinson. I wish they could've continued making music like this.

Tear Soup (1983)

 The Groove Line (1982)

Price You Pay (Live, 1983. With added performances by Tracie and The Style Council.)

Tuesday Sunshine (1984)
